New book in the works- "DINOSAURS, STOMP, CHOMP & ROAR"

We went to Kansas City on Thurs. to shoot the photos for the "Dinosaurs, Stomp, Chomp & Roar" and got back late Friday night- like 2 a.m. The photo shoot for the new book was awesome. Judy and Aaron were wonderful to work with as usual and Brian the designer spoke my language. I just loved him. I was so blessed to see the Lord orchestrating it before me. We did a complete photo shoot in the studio and then Judy offered Diane's house she is renting from Judy to do a photo shoot in one of her bedroom's. They all pitched in and brought enough furnishing to shoot a little boy's room. Jaron had given his Nonny a bag full of Dinosaur's to dress up the shoot, including the stuffed T-Rex I made for him that they said HAD to be in the book too. What a fun day.
Don and I were bushed when we headed for Indiana. The night before tornadoes went through KC and Independence where we were staying, about a mile from the Motel. What a night. I lay awake for most of the night praying for those who might have had damage. NO one was killed and I was thankful, unlike South Carolina where six were killed this week in tornadoes. You could here the air being sucked out of our room under the door and the siren was going off when the tornado was going through. Too close for me!
I have a few corrections to make for Judy and send back this week. I am supposed to get the templates this week but maybe Monday.
The boys spent the afternoon with me and we went to McDonald's. I just love those boys. Karen and Ben went to a movie and baby clothes shopping. Next week it will be my turn. It will be so wonderful to have a new little soul to love on and give those little neck kisses and smell those sweet baby smells.
Well time for devotions before Donnie gets home. Life is good!
And OH what fun it was to go garage sale-ing with Karen today. I got a box full of new wool. I think I'm in heaven. Judy Bowman's sale. What a sweetie! I spoke last night at a mother-daughter dinner, giving my healing testimony and how I got into making quilts and books. I cried and they all said they enjoyed it. I don't know why the Lord would have me speak but I am so thankful for all he has done in my life over the years that I can't say no. He is everything to me. I would not want to exist without Him.
Thank you Lord.
